S&T Serbia wins ICT award – Diskobolos

S&T Serbia won the Diskobolos award for the project of the first SAP CRM implementation in the country, implemented in Serbian biggest cable operator - Serbia Broadband (SBB).
The Union of ICT Societies of Serbia, JISA, awards with this prestigious award companies which have given special contribution to the development of Serbian and regional IT society. Intending to support their efforts and inventions, Diskobolos is given to those companies with the best ICT achievements. This year, in the category of “services”, S&T Serbia has been selected as the company having undertaken one of the biggest and most ambitious projects – the first SAP CRM implementation in Serbia.

The implementation has been very complex because the project covered SBB’s business operations in more than 20 towns and lasted for one year and a half. The CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solution included billing, marketing and service centre. This means that almost all SBB’s IT business activities are now covered with SAP software and IT infrastructure implemented by S&T SAP consultants, which required a great deal of experience and know-how.

The ceremony of giving JISA’s highest local and regional award for the use of ICT technologies has been opened by the Deputy of the minister for the IT society, Mr. Nebojša Vasiljević and took place in the Belgrade Hotel Intercontinental, one of the highest class hotels in the city with exceptional media coverage.
