S&T wins a contract for a wide range of Managed Services for Nova Banjalučka banka Banja Luka

Nova Banjalučka Banka is a subsidiary of BA-CA, a member of UniCredit Group. BA-CA is Austria’s largest bank with shareholder’s equity of more than 7 billion euros. Together with UniCredit, BA-CA operates the most extensive international banking network in CEE with responsibility for 24 countries, more than 2,900 offices and some 60,000 employees serving about 17 million customers. UniCredit Group is the fourth-largest bank in Europe. By joining forces with HVB Group and BA-CA Group, a truly European bank was created.

Nova Banjalučka Banka was established 1911, it is situated in Banja Luka and is a Bank with longest tradition in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In more than 90-year long history, this Bank went through most different transformations and worked successfully in different legal and organizational forms as a part of bigger number of banks and banking systems. NBB serves more than 200.000 clients in BiH through more than 80 branches. NBB decided to establish new operational IT infrastructure, through extensive migration of existing SW and HW platforms.

S&T, the market leader on FSI market in the region, with most distinguished expertise in commercial banking market, will carry out this large-scale international project in four phases. First phase will be done in the following 5 months due to the large number of operational changes and strict procedures needed and defined as tasks by NBB. These range from infrastructure issues to OS migration, communication solutions upgrades, project management, trainings, wide array of managed services and overall support. Realization of such project on this scale requires a great deal of experience and know-how as it covers complete business process and therefore involves highly sensitive data. S&T has a local team of consultants, engineers and technicians who will carry out the project. The whole project is to be done together with S&T BA, which also shows the strength of S&T’s regional presence and mutual collaboration on regional level includes HW delivery, Data Center establishment, AV solution deployment and the mentioned Managed Services.

The benefit for the customer will be improved IT platform within the organization, in accordance to the new business approach, which has to result in competitive advantage in the market and in increased revenue.
